De vuelta en la ciudad, grandes planes, grandes amigos.
Buenas a todos, estamos de vuelta hace unos días ya. Estuvimos grabando en San Luis en uno de los estudios mas grandes de Latinoamérica, y realmente fue una experiencia que nos llena de orgullo y felicidad. Gordon Raphael resultó ser un tipo ejemplar, y ahora un amigo. Particularmente me enseñó muchas cosas sobre la música y el rock, de cómo la magia en la música sucede, y no se planea.Y cosas que ya todos sospechábamos como que Kate Moss es totalmente aburrida (ja!). Uno a veces piensa que los productores llegan para decir todo lo que está mal, y todo lo que hay que cambiar en la música, pero Gordon fue un tipo que llegó a encontrar lo que está bien, y a apoyarlo hasta el final.
Hoy mirando hacia atrás es orgullo lo que siento, en un país donde todo se hace cada vez mas difícil (porque elegimos cantar en inglés, porque elegimos un estilo de música que no todos comprenden o no quieren comprender), hubo gente y cuerdas que se entrelazaron para lograr un objetivo, basado en la confianza. Gente que como bien dice el track “Dreamers” nunca podrán ser frenadas, porque no hay barrera lo suficientemente fuerte para restringirnos.
Quiero recalcar el trabajo que hubo detrás de esta grabación y agradecer a todos los que durante estos largos meses (si, meses) de planeamiento, preparación y trabajo duro hicieron posible que grabemos nuestro primer disco en condiciones inmejorables: A Sol Oreña y sus maravillosas fotografías y buen gusto, Mariana Badino y su incalculable ayuda en la producción, prensa y logística, José Lataliste y su apoyo desinteresado, Alejandro Varela y su confianza, Nacho Soler y su hospitalidad, Alicia Frey y la gente de la embajada de Estados Unidos por romper una barrera histórica con el rock y ayudarnos, Analía de Pedro y su tiempo, Martín (LCDLM) por su sabiduría y voluntad, a todos los amigos que nos prestaron amplificadores, guitarras, bajos, etc etc etc, que fueron MUCHOS, y por supuesto a nuestras familias por su apoyo incondicional. Y por último a Gordon Raphael por su valentía, confianza, buen humor, cariño y profesionalismo que seguramente volvamos a ver mas adelante.
Esto recién comienza, en poco tiempo podrán escuchar los resultados de esta aventura, de los cuales estamos orgullosos y queremos que lleguen a tod@s.
Hace unos años cuando decidí dejar los tambores de la batería para agarrar una guitarra y escribir canciones, nunca imaginé que algo como esto podría llegar a realizarse, por eso y lo que viene: Gracias.

Hello Everyone, We´re back since a few days. We´ve been recording in San Luis, Argentina. In one of the biggest Studios in Latin America. It was really an amazing experience, that we are very proud of, and full of happiness. Gordon Raphael turned out to be an amazing guy, and now, a friend. He taught us a lot about music and rock, and how the magic in music just happens, and can´t be planned. And some other stuff like how boring Kate Moss is (ha!). Sometimes we think “producer”, is that guy that arrives and tell everyone everything that´s wrong. Well, Gordon is not like that, he is a guy that comes to find what´s good, and support it till the end.
Today, looking back, it´s pride what i feel. In a country (Argentina), where everything it´s harder everyday ( because we choose to sing in english, because we choose a music style that lots of people doesn´t understand, or doesn´t want to understand), there was people y strings that interlaced to achieve an objective, based on trust. People like the one we mention in “Dreamers” could never be Stopped, because there is no barracks strong enough to restrain us.
I want to mention the work that´s been made behind this Recordon, and thank everyone that after months ( yes, months), of planning, preparation, and hard work, made possible that we recorded our first Album in the absolutely best conditions: Sol Oreña and her amazing Pictures and good taste, Mariana Badino and her help in production, media, and logistic, José Lataliste and his disinterested help, Alejandro Varela and his trust, Nacho Soler and his Hospitality, Alicia Frey and US Embassy for breaking years of years of tradition and help us, Martin (LCDLM) for his knowledge and good will, Analia de Pedro for her time. And Every friend, colegue, partner, who let us use their guitars, bass, amplifiers, etc,etc,etc. they were A FUCKING LOT, our families for their absolute support, and specially Gordon Raphael, for believing in us, his courage, sense of humor, and professionalism, We´ll se you again for sure my friend.
This is just the Beggining, in a short while you´ll be able to listen to the results of this adventure, wich we are proud of, and we want everyone to listen to!!!!
Years ago, when i left the drums, got a guitar and start playing songs, i could never imagine such a great thing to happen. For that, and whathever comes in the future: Thank you.
